    Hi:

anyone know how to remove the light on the dashboard when the mag-ride are delete?

I install a ST supension and i have this light on the dashboard.

do you know if you can disable it using the VCDS-VAG??

I would avoid buying the specific KW kit that costs 300€

    Basically there are 2 options:

    • Deal with it and buy the 300€ KW Parts
    • Complete removal of the MAG Ride, which includes disassembling of the Mag Ride ECU (located under the passenger seat) and different sensors for the automatic headlight range control (as well as rewiring the sensors with the dedicated ECU). Mounting them is fairly difficult, because they do not fit with the mounting points of the Mag Ride sensors).
After that you have to use the VAGCOM to make changes to some ECU's, so there won't be any error messages. So all in all it's quite difficult and I assume the costs for that will be higher than for the KW parts, but it's the "clean" way to do it. Here's a complete guide in german if you interested how exactly to do it: Mag Ride Removal

If you ask me you should go with the KW Parts. It's easier to put the car back to stock and they just work fine. I also use them for my tracktool with no problems at all in terms of ESP and so on. But be careful to get the right ones! My first Mag Ride delete didn't work properly, so there are definitely differences! If you are not sure just go ahead and write an E-Mail to KW Suspensions or ask your local dealer!

Hope I could help you buddy! :)

Take the kw kit, easiest and fastest way to solve the problem. There is no point to go the difficult way, and don't forget the think in future...maybe you will sell the lady WITH mr, who knows...
